Happy Birthday to Sarah Rhiannon Jones!

Happy 14th anniversary of your birthing day. I wonder why it is we honor the one born and not the one who bore the one we celebrate? It is a rather symbiotic thing don’t you think? Without the one to bear the one born, whom would we be celebrating? Mother’s Day – most of you will respond. That is WHY we have Mother’s Day! Hmmm…it seems a bit unfair. We lump all the Moms into one day of celebrating them, and then we celebrate all the birthing days of those born daily. Seems out of balance to me. Must be another Hallmark device we’ve succumbed to like dim-witted ninnies.

So, congratulations to Judy Jones for giving birth to her youngest14 years ago today. Well done!

Happy first day of school to Jameson!

I hope all is going well for him today and that he finds all his classes, finds someone to have lunch with and really likes all his teachers! Sheesh, can you tell I'm a mom or what???
