And the fire rages...
Just a quick note to remind all of you to pray for those affected by the fire devastation here in Southern California.
And, specifically - please pray for our friends at Ponderosa Pines (Green Valley Lake area). They had to all be evacuated and are uncertain if the fire has reached or bypassed their campground.
Also, pray for Randy's cabin. This is Jameson's family's cabin in Blue Jay, CA. They are uncertain as to the outcome of their vacation home. This is also where we are supposed to be going for our Run to the Hills Retreat in November.
Please, pray.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, 23-24
(16) Rejoice always;
(17) pray without ceasing;
(18) in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
(23) Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(24) Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
Love to all of you - Mary

:(
My coach's cabin that we go to for XC camp is up the road from Pondo, and he still isn't sure about if it's there or not, but most likely it is gone. Most of the houses and one camp ground right by his cabin are gone....this is so sad!
(Plus, he's taking it out on the team haha..)
But really, prayer is best, yes?
